Hexachrome printing is a high quality 6-colour printing developed by a famous company PANTONE.

General distinction of hexahrome printing is a wider palette comparing to the traditional CMYK printing. It is achieved by changing CMYK to more satiate tones and adding orange and green colours. One of the most important advantages of the hexachrome printing is an opportunity to reach precise up to 90% of PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM colours, which is almost twice as much as traditional CMYK results. Hexachrome wide palette allows to print colours which can be seen on the screen but are impossible to achieve in CMYK printing.

Preparation of files for hexachrome printing can be done using PANTONE HexVector and PANTONE HexImage additions to Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator programs, as well as Macromedia FreeHand and QuarkXPress.
